Recently, I worked with Pro Velo to design a digital tool for families seeking the right bike and accessories. The project began with a 5-day design sprint with Pro Velo’s team, during which we defined the challenge, prototyped solutions, and tested with real users. Testing revealed a need for more specific and personalized recommendations while maintaining Pro Velo’s neutrality on brands and retailers. Through iterative prototyping, we enhanced the tool to meet the needs of young parents while aligning with Pro Velo’s guidelines. This approach empowers my clients to deliver products their customers will use and enjoy.Building on my engineering background, I not only understand user-related challenges but also technical complexities that can arise in product development. Member of the Strategy & Business Transformation team, reporting to General Management.In my role, I drive innovation across the organization by defining and managing STIB-MIVB’s innovation process and portfolio, working closely with all divisions. This involves identifying new opportunities, fostering collaboration both internally and with external partners, and supporting teams to turn ideas into impactful projects. I also explore and assess emerging technologies to ensure alignment with our business goals.In early 2021, I led the launch of STIB’s Innovation Lab (innov@telier) with a team of passionate colleagues from all divisions. We use 5-days design sprints to bring colleagues' ideas to life, solve major challenges, and create both customer-centric and employee-centric solutions – while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Over four years, we've coached 30 teams and projects, launching new digital services, revamping internal processes, and even helping redesign charging infrastructure for our electric buses – often involving external partners in the process.In parallel, I lead STIB’s AI efforts, supported by a community of colleagues dedicated to exploring AI applications – from generative AI in HR and marketing to predictive maintenance models. By assessing the business impact of these initiatives, we focus on launching only those that deliver measurable ROI and align with the organization’s strategic goals.
