He thrives in growth focused businesses at the intersection of Healthcare and Technology. He is currently Founder CEO of Exacta.Health, a stealth mode company focused on predictive analytics and RPM using Healthcare data, and Owner-Operator of a regional Home Healthcare platform in Texas executing a roll up and consolidation growth path. He is also an angel investor in multiple Healthcare businesses and guides portfolio companies in a Board of Director role.Before his Entrepreneurial journey, Gagan was CEO of Apollo Sugar, an integrated care delivery network for Diabetes, a JV of Apollo Hospitals and Sanofi Pharma. He built the company from scratch combining in-clinic care with digital care using AI, Telehealth and Connected Devices. He has strong expertise in managing primary care networks and is an expert on RPM and CCM. Under his leadership, Apollo Sugar received India's #1 diabetes company ranking for 3 years with top line growth 35% YOY, 750K patients served at 100 owned & partnered clinics, and a 4 year break even. While at Apollo, Gagan also led the transformation of Apollo White Dental as Interim COO. He improved patient pathways & clinical standards and pivoted to high value procedures that delivered 25% YOY revenue growth.Prior to Apollo, Gagan was at Max Bupa, a leading health insurer, as COO, Healthcare Operations. Gagan led key functions across Product Development, Claims Processing, Underwriting, Health Analytics, Fraud Control. During his tenure, Max Bupa received 'Most Innovative Product' award for Family First, and grew its market rank from 11th to 3rd. Before that, Gagan was with Aetna, a Fortune 100 company, as Managing Director, Strategy and Corporate Development where he led several key initiatives in Health Exchanges, Accountable Care, the Coventry acquisition in Medicare, and the company's China & India market entry. Prior to Aetna, Gagan was an Associate Partner with Accenture's Management Consulting practice in NYC where he served clients across Healthcare value chain in Pharma, Medical Devices, Health Insurers and Providers in growth strategy, commercial marketing & sales, and operations transformations.In 2014, Gagan was recognized by Economic Times in India's Top '40 under 40 Business Leaders' – a list of top young CXOs in corporate India. He has been recognized by IIT Bombay with a Distinguished Alumni award, and is visiting faculty at IIM for Executive MBA Healthcare program.
