I spent my early 20's in the military and learned many useful things. I learned how to take care of myself, do my own laundry, shave everyday, pay bills and cook for myself. That might seem very basic, but those were things my younger self needed to learn. I also learned how to show up on time, at the right place, in the right uniform. I take pride in what I do. I was a 68D and assisted in orthopedic, general and ENT surgeries as a scrub tech. I learned how to talk to everyone and anyone, that was what i took away most from the army. I can talk with the best of them. When working in the OR you are side by side with doctors who are some of the smartest people in world. I learned a lot from them as well. I have worked in Texas, Washington, South Korea and Louisiana. I currently major in Policy at Syracuse University.My side hustle is going on Facebook Marketplace and finding deals on vehicles or other smaller items and reselling them to make a profit. I've learned how to get top dollar for items that people were giving away for free or selling cheap. I've also learned to talk people down from their asking price to increase my profits. I truly enjoy being a salesmen. Maybe it is because I can relate to a lot of people, why I have success in communication. I play guitar, I am up on the news, I like cars, I like everything... and that gives me an "in" that helps me get to know people.
