Hello! I am a Nashville, Tennessee based audio engineer and business owner. Over the years in Nashville, I have worked in various venues and eventually began touring as a contracted tour manager/front of house engineer. Outside of live sound, I focus much of my time on my business Gnarly Whale Sounds. Gnarly Whale Sounds is primarily recording studio based projects such as fully produced singles, EPs and albums. Gnarly Whale's main service is what we call "Live At Gnarly Whale". These are live, in-studio or on location performances captured with fully mixed and edited audio as well as professional video. We offer this as a service to artists and bands that are in need of content to promote upcoming releases, shows, etc. We highlight our favorite sessions with weekly releases on a myriad of social media platforms as well as YouTube. Recently, our "Live At Gnarly Whale" with local Nashville artist Crystal Rose was featured by NPR's Tiny Desk "Top Shelf" video series.
