Exiting my college career, I entered into a track at KPMG when the birth of my son necessitated a shift in priorities.For the past 8 years, I’ve thrived in smaller accounting teams, where my hands-on involvement has enriched my technical skills. Whether it’s optimizing payroll workflows or refining A/R and A/P processes, I enjoy diving into the operational side of accounting. One of my hidden passions is payroll, where I ensure that every detail is meticulously handled. I’ve also found satisfaction in the challenges of month-end close—balancing the predictable structure with the inevitable surprises that keep me engaged. Tax and compliance, though less frequent, are processes I truly enjoy as they allow me to apply my regulatory knowledge to ensure full compliance.What truly drives me, however, is building and developing strong accounting teams.
