Developed internal supply chain planning tools and supported logistics planning for large engine (over 34L in displacement) assembly to strengthen processes and flows between internal and external customers under a 1.2 million sq. ft. roof with off-campus warehouses. Role is recognized by Purdue University as a co-op experience.● Developed a tool to highlight delays in orders for kit building and shipping from logistics partners using PowerBI, DAX, and SQL (Oracle).● Developed a tool to analyze workstation cycle times to fine tune order trigger timings for kits using PowerBI, DAX, SQL (Oracle), and R.● Developed a tool to forecast upcoming engine sequences and identify part numbers to order, prepare, and stage large components for final assembly using PowerBI, PowerBI Report Builder/SSRS, and SQL (Oracle)● Developed a solution for utilizing asset trackers in shipping time studies to analyze location data and report supply chain bottlenecks using asset trackers, Zebra Touch Computer, Python, Django, PowerBI, DAX, and SQL (Oracle).● Developed a solution for locating engines in-storage and engines in-transit to reduce search time over a 900 sq. mi. area by connecting asset trackers to our internal ERP using asset trackers, Zebra Touch Computer, Python, Django, and SQL (Oracle).● Researched and tested indoor kit container tracking for analyzing flow bottlenecks and reducing kit container search times within the plant using asset trackers, WiFi access points , and BLE beacons.

Analyzed health sensor data sets to train predictive models to calculate the remaining useful life of key system components of military aircraft and land vehicles as well as performing business intelligence on emerging business interests by training natural language processing models. This was a collaboration between Raytheon and Purdue University's Data Mine program.● Created a convolutional neural network model using the TensorFlow Python library to predict turbofan engine failures using time series data from engine sensors in the Data Driven Mission Readiness class section.● Built an advanced analytics and dashboard tool using Tableau to gain insight into emerging business interests using natural language processing models on the Business Intelligence and Analytics class section.● Discovered US Dept. of Defense financial trends by analyzing public records and cross-referencing information with different federal agencies.● Collaborated using Agile methodology to produce timely results in software engineering and data science by adhering to 2-week sprints and participating in weekly update meetings.● Implemented solution using Docker, MongoDB, Python, Tableau and popular data science Python libraries.
