CurrentAdvanced to a position of increased authority and scope, earning promotion to Facilities Manager for a global biotherapeutic and biotechnology company that discovers, develops, and produces critical care treatments for people with life-threatening disorders. Transitioned back to the role of Operations Supervisor to pursue personal and educational goals. Provide leadership and guidance over day-to-day operations, including staff leadership, HR management, hosting FDA audits, production management, equipment calibrations/management, maintenance operations, and product shipment. Challenged to ensure company compliance with the FDA, EMA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP, and SOP guidelines, rules, and regulations as well as develop ongoing improvement in processes and increase donor base. Demonstrate decisive and authoritative leadership over a multifaceted crew. As Facility Manager oversaw, led, and directed 40+ employees. After transitioning back to Operations Supervisor, lead and direct a staff of 45 phlebotomists, donor center technicians, and laboratory technicians.Proud recipient of the “Quality Excellence of the Year” for achieving no 483 findings on external audits with the FDA and EMA conducted in 2009; excelled as the top division out of 50+ centers in quality.As Facility Manager, increased plasma donations through tactical outreach to schools and retail establishments. Held the record in the center for facilitating the most donations.Triggered a significant reduction in processing time by creating and introducing a new streamlined intake/seating process referred to as the “wave."Improve and maintain building operations by working with various contractors to complete repairs and building improvements within the allotted budget.Demonstrate the capacity to improve customer service and product quality through continued evaluation of processes and training in addition to hiring, training, development, and management of high-performing staff.
