    Senior IT Project manager with additional responsibility of direct line management of 3 staff, mentoring, coaching, goal setting and performance management.Following GE's decision to exit the Financial Services Market (GE Capital worldwide), delivered several programme work streams, working on remediation/legacy issues, which where a pre-requisite for the assest sale and data migration to the new purchasers, all under extreme time pressure.Due to industry changes in Visa card payment processing requirements and PCI DSS compliance , I successfully led the project from feasibility into requirements and through to implementation/warranty, transitioning to Verifone's hosted Payware Merchant card payment service. Managed multiple suppliers, negotiating SLAs' and contractual obligations/SOW including the upgrade of interfaces to the IVR & Fraud Detection applications.Successfully delivered critical time dependant project to introduce over 100 new business data metrics, following a policy statement issued by the FCA on new reporting requirements for FCA regulated accounts. This involved the creation of new database objects in the Data Warehouse, new Sagent ETL data loads and Business Objects reports, resulting in changes to our existing originations product data file and a new regulatory file submission to the FCA.

    Following the acquisition of the First National Bank (Part of Abbey National) business to GE. I programme managed the IT aspects of the separation of Abbey Nationals shared infrastructure into GE. These elements included application migration, network separation, shared services such as Experian, IT Helpdesk & Deskside support and re-negotiation of contracts within a Transitional Service Agreement. Within this, I led the project to transition the IT Helpdesk and Deskside services to offshore, which included visiting the relevant services in India.Other key notable projects include:-Spent several years specialising in the delivery of critical call centre projects to upgrade the Aspect Dialler from Aspect Unison with ALM v3 to ALM and UIP 7.1, with HA/DR capabilities. This also included an upgrade of our Nice Call recording system to Nice Perform and inbound call tagging of all customer related calls to our servicing platform. Given the total budget for this project exceeded £1million, I had to present a Project Appraisal Assessment to our corporate Governing body GE Capital in the US for approval.Additionally, I also delivered an upgrade of our Avaya IVR and an upgrade to the Nuance Speech engine, working very closely with external vendors.Managed the system interfaces work stream for the migration to a new originations and servicingplatform.Delivered critical Credit Reference Agency reporting, which corrected 1000's of customers accountsensuring TCF/DPA compliance and resulted in a saving of 3 man days of manual effort on a monthly basis allowing, the submission to the CRA's 5 days earlier than previous.

    I was responsible for providing a solution to enable the Bank to meet future operational demands through the adoption of a Contact Management System throughout the First National Group of companies. After conducting a full analysis and feasibility, I was responsible for producing a detailed business case, along with costings, which I presented to the Executive Board of Directors and gained full budgetary approval to the value of £2M, for implementation of Goldmine 4.0 software. It was then my responsibility to manage and undertake all necessary steps to put the proposals into place and see the project through to completion. The project initially consisted of a small pilot to 3 of the Consumer Finance Sales Branch Offices,approximately 30 users. Once the solution was proven, this was then successfully rolled out to all 21Consumer Finance Sales Offices within the UK, totalling 120 users, all within agreed budget and timeline.I took on a permanent role at the bank in January 2000 following the above successful contract period.
