After starting out at Karr- Barth Associates in Bala Cynwyd and getting a good background in all insurance and securities. I found my niche market to be the newly blooming Voluntary Employee Benefits market. I began networking with health insurance brokers all over the country and started my life on the road!I became a GA for many carriers and always was in the Top 10% if not 1% of Sales. I quickly made a name for myself in the Industry. I have always loved working with people and being able to explain something that most find difficult to understand. Selling a service like insurance takes skill. If you can do that well for any length of time then you can do anything. I am in this business because I really enjoy helping people. I have seen first hand how insurance products can change peoples lives. Being the Enroller, the Manager and Directing over 50 Enrollers at a time, the person giving group meetings to over 100 people at once or convincing the owner or human resource person they should offer these plans to their employees. I have done it all at some point. I like to constantly challenge myself.Then 15 years ago I became certified in NLP from Richard Bandler's school out west enabling me to teach hypnosis/NLP if I choose. Interestingly I have been using many of the same skills without ever being taught them. I love to constantly get better at what I do and the NLP techniques have only served to help me get even better at what I enjoy doing.
