I am the author of the bestselling book "Fat No More - Long Term Success Following Weight Loss Surgery"I coach and mentor people searching for guidance in creating a healthier lifestyle through weight loss and weight maintenance. I have a specialty in working with weight loss surgery patients all the way from considering the surgery up to and including people many years out of the surgery. I coach people one-on-one plus give talks to WLS support groups, and conduct workshops. I work with WLS patients from personal experience. I had Gastric Bypass Surgery myself in 2004, lost 175 lbs. and have kept the weight off. I am always willing to talk to people (no charge) who are considering the surgery and would like the perspective of someone who has been through it and remained successful.

I work one-on-one via phone or internet with clients wanting to change their lifestyle to become healthier. I specialize in working with Weight Loss Surgery Patients to help them maintain their weight loss. But I also work with anyone wishing to get healthier, lose weight, and get more fit.

I am experienced Suzuki Violin Teacher. I trained under one of the early pioneers of this method, Margery Aber. I also spent several months in Japan with Shinichi Suzuki, the founder of the method and several of his top teachers. I edited the book Hip Hip Hooray, 30 years with the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point Wisconsin by Margery Aber. I taught at Mount Royal College, Calgary Alberta Canada. Then spent 4 years developing the early childhood development music program at The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia. From 1976-1982 I opened my own Suzuki Violin Studio in San Diego, CA and Los Angeles, CA, which later moved to the San Jose, CA area. In 1998 I moved back to Wisconsin and ran a highly successful studio in Madison for 17 years. I am currently teaching privately in Seattle WA.
