I have over 18 years of claim handling experience; from medical only claims, highly litigated claims, high dollar medical exposure claims and excess carrier claims. I enjoy working in the field of claims because of the variety of the many job duties claims bring. I am very good at claim handling to include reserving and negotiating settlements. My years of being a Certified Mediator has been a plus when it comes to settling claims.I am a self starter and don't require a lot of supervision. I am organized and I have the ability to prioritize and deal with organization and client changes. I am customer oriented and have the ability to uphold the company core values as well as the clients. I understand medical terminology and I have bill review as well as data entry experience. I have experience working with nurses, doctors, lawyers, investigators, clients, and CEO's. I am comfortable and enjoy reviewing files with the client. I am able to explain claim handling in very simple terms to employers as well as employees. Through my years of working in claims, I have handled all kinds of claims dealing with all kinds of people, situations, and circumstances.
