As Volunteer Services Manager my responsibilities are provide oversight of all volunteer related activity within the hospice program. I engage in recruitment activities, training and retention, and on-going supervision with all volunteers. I also collaborate with our sales team to provide community education and outreach. I participate in many community events and health fairs throughout the year. Often I provide Continuing Education Programs (CEU) for area healthcare professionals on a variety of hospice, professional growth, self-care and current healthcare topics.

Comprehensive Oversight of all southern Ohio locations

I had the amazing opportunity to open a new home health care office for Cambridge Home Health Care in Springfield, Ohio. Promoted to District Manager within the organization in September 2008.

Facilitated Operations of multiple Sterling House assisted living communities in Western Ohio. Primarily serving as Executive Director of the Urbana and then Springfield locations.Featured Presenter at the Ohio Assisted Living Association Conference June 2004

Developed Marketing and Sales Plans for the 100 bed long term care facility. Provided direct oversight and follow through of the admissions process, from initial referrals, to tour and move in day planning.

Developed Fund raising strategies and managed day-to-day operations of the Life Abundant Hospice House. Facilitated Board of Directors meetings. Fostered relationships with Community Hospice and Mercy Hospice management while providing oversight of patient's care.
