I lead communications for the Malaghan Institute, a remarkable organisation at the forefront of biomedical discovery. Scientists at the institute undertake ground-breaking research in cancer, infectious disease, allergies, inflammation and immune health, working to harness the immune system to save lives. www.malaghan.org.nz

I do a mixture of project-based work (including communications strategy/planning, media relations, writing and editing) as well as providing advisory services (on an on-call basis or in-house as required). I have worked (and continue to work) for a range of clients across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, including: the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research, Victoria University of Wellington, the Dame Malvina Major Foundation, Gladstone Vineyard, Financial Services Complaints Limited, Community Law Centres o Aotearoa, Patricia’s Opera Tours, Statistics New Zealand, the Banking Ombudsman, the Commerce Commission, the Royal Society of New Zealand, the Marketing Team, The Office of the Children’s Commissioner, New Zealand Post, the Productivity Commission, Tourism New Zealand, Starfish clothing and the Retirement Commission.
