Principal in the law firm of Secor, Cassidy, & McPartland with offices in Waterbury, Southbury, and Watertown Connecticut; areas of expertise are land use, municipal law, real estate development and transactions, and commercial law; have had the privilege of serving as Town Attorney, Land Use Counsel and Special Land Use counsel in numerous Connecticut towns. In towns where Gail did not represent the municipality, she worked with developers, business owners, neighborhood associations, non-profit entities, and lenders in real estate development matters including land use planning, brown field development, regulation drafting, processing applications, post-approval documentation and financing; experienced in drafting common interest ownership documents for planned communities and commercial/residential condominiums. Before becoming an attorney, Gail taught Biology and Environmental Science at the High School and College levels. The biology background has provided an excellent skill set for dealing with environmental issues in land use. Litigated numerous land use cases including arguments before the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts.
