I own a small home based business to business sales company that was started and incorporated in 2000.

As a National Accounts Project Manager (PM) I am managing approximately 60-80 projects at a time. As PM I am responsible for bidding & winning as many projects as I can without sacrificing quality or integrity! My primary duties include reviewing drawings and specifications for the purpose of bidding on commercial projects, both new construction and remodels nationwide. Project Management further entails contract negotiations, direct communication with General Contractor, Architect, Developers and Owners. As Project Manager without support staff I am multifunctional and handle all of my own project procurement, OMAT, Shop Drawing & Submittals, Close Out Documents, Approve & Code invoicing, Scheduling, Change Orders, Tracking project cost and Forecasting. My National Accounts include Wal-Mart, Discount Tire, CVS Pharmacy, Ross Dress for Less, Advanced Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Petco, Michaels, Rite Aid Pharmacy and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

As Project Cost Engineer & Coordinator (PE) I am responsible for administrative support to Project Managers, Superintendents and Branch Manager. My focal responsibilities are, but are not limited to; Cost tracking on cost plus and lump sum projects, direct communication with Architects, Owners, Subcontractors, Developers and various municipalities, monthly cost reporting and forecasting, AIA Owner Progress Payment Application, collecting & reviewing Subcontractor Payment Applications. Shop Drawing Review & Submittals, track/log submittals and RFI's (Request for Information), Weekly Owner Progress Reports & Photo's, Change Order Management, Close-Outs, and experience with a disaster insurance claim. I have also served as support staff to the Estimating department which has given me invaluable learning experience in commercial construction in the following areas; drawing/specification understanding and the ability to identify these specific divisions of construction and what each of them entails in their entirety, equipment and material purchase orders and subcontracts, upload budget estimate and cost breakdown (by division) to JDEdwards and continually adjusting monthly (both from a project standpoint as well as the office as a whole) I have also served as Executive Assistant (EA) to the Branch Manager. In this light I have been responsible for all aspects of running a small but certainly fast paced office. These duties included Branch/Historic File Management, Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Deposits, Check Requests, Approving/Coding, and Processing project invoices for payment as well as making Travel Arrangements and handling Expenses and Company Credit Accounts. As EA I was also responsible for company newsletter correspondence & legal correspondence with our law offices and legal department, registration and licensing renewal with various municipalities and jurisdictions.
