Regulatory Reporting Programme Manager Managed the implementation of the systems, tools and processes required to meet existing and new trading regulations, leading a global team of ~15 permanent, contract and managed service employees to cover both programme and BAU deliveries• Delivered timely solutions to meet the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) regulations to ensure bp’s compliance with the new European regulations by the reporting dates • Liaised with Legal and Regulatory Reporting business teams and SMEs to validate the scope of new regulations ensuring that the complex and evolving regulations achieved understanding and clarity • Managed delivery of a new regulatory reporting solution via an external supplier additionally facilitating the supplier resources and ensuring delivery within budget (£5m)• Prepared plans to provide the application activities required to achieve both an exit and no-exit scenario to Brexit providing clarity to the timelines required to meet the scenarios post the final decision being made
