I have been working in the field of Health/Nutrition/Dance/Yoga/Fitness for over 25 years. I love helping people take an active role in their own Well-being. I have taught many types of classes over the years - from Nutrition Presentations to Weight Training; Yoga for Adults and Seniors; Meditation; Adult Ballet; and Middle Eastern Style Dance and even Vegetable Gardening! I grew up in Northeast Iowa, working in my Dad's retail stores. He taught me the value of good customer service long before there was even a term for it! I earned my Bachelors degree in Dance at the U of Iowa; and later, a Masters degree in Liberal Studies / Nutrition at Indiana University South Bend. I have excellent time management skills; I am very organized and I enjoy a new challenge. I am currently looking for a position as Activities / Wellness Assistant that would allow me to combine all of my experience while also transitioning out of the retail environment.
