As the Archway Professional, I manage the day-to-day operations for the Clayton Archway Partnership, working with community leaders to provide University System of Georgia, State and Federal government resources to address prioritized community issues. - Coordinate and facilitate monthly meetings, workshops and retreats for community leaders/stakeholders including (County Commissioners, Mayor (7 cities), Superintendent Public Schools, President Chamber of Commerce, District Director Board of Health, and University President). - Identify higher education resources to address community issues with an annual savings of over $500 thousand dollars annually. - Develop partnerships with more than 25 organizations to develop and manage programs for Clayton County Public Schools, (teen summit, county-wide tutoring program, youth entrepreneur and writing workshops), to increase student's academic success and develop leadership skills. - Facilitate and manage the logistics for seven committees on a monthly basis, including an Executive and Steering committee. - Identify and recruit team members for community and economic development projects. - Develop annual strategic plan to address prioritized issues in Community Health, Community/Economic Development, Education and Leadership Development. - Manage multiple community/economic development projects, such as, establishment of a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, creation of a Tourism Brochure, and development of a code enforcement agreement. - Effectively manage one full-time employee and more than 10 undergrad and graduate interns per quarter. - Identify and recruit fortune 500 companies and government sponsors for community programs. - Market and promote the Clayton Archway Partnership program to the community and surrounding counties. - Coordinate and manage projects with faculty, staff and students (purchasing policy review, community blog, housing resource website and on-line internal directory).

As Director of the Governor's Mentor Protege Program I managed the day to day operations. My responsibilities included recruiting corporate sponsors, managing the program budget and developing partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations. I developed program content and coordinated business seminars, conferences, and retreats. I was also responsible for conducting training classes and presentations throughout the state of Georgia. Effectively managed full-time employees and student interns. Developed and coordinated specialized minority procurement conferences including, corporate/government exhibitors, training workshops and one-on-one procurement consulting sessions, conferences developed were, the Asian Procurement Symposium, Hispanic Business Forum, and the African American Business Conference.
