As the Manager of Access Management I am responsible for the day to day operations and oversight of the Access Management department. Our department consists of In-patient registration and Pre-Registration. Our pre-registration department is located off site and is not accessible to the general public. We are constantly looking to expand and take on registration for other departments and private physician offices. Our pre-registration area also uses video phones to register patients that present to our lab and x-ray departments. We currently are pre-registering patients up to 7 days in advance of the date of service.

I was responsible for the day to day operation of the scheduling and registration of patients coming in for chemotherapy and radiation therapy. I managed a staff of 10.

I supervised the clerical staff in the x-ray file room. I also supervised the Radiology transcription staff. I managed a staff of 25.
