FounderProfessor Taylor founded RISE Career Launch after years of witnessing extremely talented women and individuals from underrepresented groups struggle in their transition from college to career. A major goal of RISE is to help recent college graduates understand how to translate the skills and knowledge acquired in an academic learning environment (the college classroom) and apply them in an experiential learning environment (the work world) while providing an increased return on investment for the companies that hire them. Program participants have excelled in their ability to navigate corporate spaces while increasing engagement, productivity, and building their professional skill set. The ultimate goal of the program is to increase the pool of highly qualified diverse individuals who will become our future business leaders.Multifaceted EducatorProfessor Taylor joined the marketing faculty at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 2000. Prior to joining the faculty at Tuck, she held marketing faculty positions at Northwestern University and the University of Georgia. She has also been a visiting professor at ULB - Solvay Business School in Brussels and spent a year as a visiting scholar at INSEAD, The Business School for the World, in Singapore. As a professor on two Semester at Sea voyages, Dr. Taylor has traveled around the world visiting over 20 countries with 950 undergraduates - a highlight of her career. Over the years, she has taught and mentored thousands of graduate and undergraduate students, improved performance outcomes of numerous entrepreneurial ventures and has been a consultant to several leading companies.
