•Led team of Associate Relations Business Consultants supporting 20,000+ associates for multiple optical brands of Luxottica, including Target Optical, Sears Optical, Pearle and LensCrafters:•Investigated elevated open door complaints from associates involving issues of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, potential wage/hour violations. •Consulted with management to navigate through complex employment decisions. •Provided guidance on performance management, coaching, and policy interpretations.•Developed and implemented new manager training on HR trends and performance management. •Responded to compliance issues to mitigate risk to the business and positively impact associate morale. •Provided regular reporting and trend analysis to the business to help identify business decisions that may impact associate behavior.

Supported Human Resource Compliance for all brands of Luxottica in North America:•Responsible for reviewing and revising the company North America version of the associate handbook. Assisted in design and development of online acknowledgment process for company handbook.•Managed intake and responses to associates’ request for work accommodations.•Responsible for research, benchmarking and implementing new background check procedures for Luxottica Retail.•Revised the Lost Prevention audits and surveys to include HR based questions and analyzed data to define opportunities for compliance.•Evaluated current record retention policy, disposal procedures, and identified deficiencies in current records retention practices

•Responsible for representing the Sheriff’s Office on all labor union issues including labor negotiations, unfair labor practice charges, grievances, arbitrations, labor management meetings and daily administration of labor contracts.•Handled all classified civil servant and unionized personnel issues including discipline, termination, leaves of absence, benefits, compensation, transfers and promotions.•Led restructure impacting over one hundred and fifty employees through layoffs and demotions •Responsible for answering all Equal Employment Opportunity Commission/Ohio Civil Rights Commission complaints filed against the Sheriff’s Office.
