As a business strategist and coach for over 10 years, I've met many entrepreneurs, freelancers, and recently, anyone working remotely, who are frustrated by their own self-sabotaging behaviors or burnout from the struggle to remain on course when constant distractions and interruptions break their ability to concentrate and complete projects. With no one to hold them accountable for their plans and goals, many get derailed by not being clear and specific about each sequential step they could take, and then they grossly overestimate how much they can accomplish on any given day. On my own personal journey to complete tasks that most contribute to my success and well-being, I learned that work sprints paired with short breaks optimize how our brains and bodies are designed. Through trial and error, I discovered that the best way to beat frustration and burnout is to create consistent weekly time blocks for specific types of work and to follow a strategic daily work plan that incorporates work sprints with planned restorative or energizing breaks. I created The Productivity Space, a hybrid of strategic planning, group motivation, and accountability to reach thousands of people and to help them transform the way they work. Through one-on-one coaching sessions via Zoom, I help my entrepreneurial clients map out strategies and plans that position them to reach their professional and personal goals. Through coaching, my clients' refine and expand their business and leadership skills and gain valuable insight into their own values, passions, and life purpose.
