My Passion Media is Canada’s largest travel and lifestyle media company. As the sole designer of Canadian Traveller, CT and their supplements I was responsible for all creative aspects of the magazines, from picture research, advertisement, production and layout design through to designing promotional material for print, online and events. Pacific Magazines is one of the biggest publishing companies in Australia with an array of world class titles from Marie Claire to Better Homes & Gardens. As part of the Innovations Department in Pacific, a sub-department dedicated to advertising, I created advertising material for print, online and mobile content for some of the biggest accounts in the company. Working closely with editorial and advertising agencies, I led projects from idea to implementation, creating commercially viable designs and campaigns within tight deadlines and budgets.I created advertising material for L’Oréal Paris, Armani, Cadbury, Kellogg's, Target and Myer to name a few.Key Responsibilities• Met with clients to sell-in concepts.• Selected and hired suppliers.• Created estimates and managed budgets.• Managed and mentored the design team.• Art directed photoshoots.• Project managed large print and digital projects.

My designs embraced the changing attitudes of women in the Gulf, giving the publication an international flavour. The Emirates Woman re-design was heralded as a success and I was promoted and asked to bring the same energy and creativity to What’s On, the UAE’s best-selling entertainment magazine and the company’s flagship title.
