Started my hospitality career in New Orleans opening the Hilton at the Riverfront as a secretary to the Food & Beverage Director and finished up at the opening of the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. From New Orleans I moved to Orlando, Florida where I started out as a sales manager for the Hilton Resort, Marriott Airport and Adam's Mark at the Florida Mall specializing in the Florida Associations Market. I was also a General Manager for a 400 Room Ramada Resort Gold Key until I successfully sold the property for the owner. Adam's Mark offered me a Regional Position representing all four Florida properties and obtained my Certified Meeting Planner's designation. Shortly after 9/11 I left Florida and moved back home to Ohio.Specialties: Starting out in the four & five star/diamond hotels was an excellent opportunity to see first hand what service, quality and value really means to a guest. Now responsible for booking parties and creating experiences at the Pro Football Hall of Fame I feel I have the best of both worlds!

I worked with Director of Sales & Marketing, John A. Cardona, as his secretary and expanded my role as years progressed. My most memorable achievement was when I was able to sell out the all suite hotel by creating a direct mail piece sent to targeted doctors to our feeder cities. Since our hotel's sells office wasn't around when many of the city-wide groups were booked we were continually overlooked and groups wanted to fill the blocks they booked. After we were successful capturing several groups through the targeting marketing efforts the CVB welcomed us to join in as a late addition to city-wides!
