Gail joined Bulkley Capital in June of 1997 and is currently managing Bulkley Capital’s Atlanta operation. Gail’s primary focus is the identification of new business opportunities, particularly through the development and management of business and referral relationships in the Southeastern market. Gail’s background includes nearly twenty years of experience in both debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining Bulkley, she held executive positions in venture capital and commercial finance firms in Dallas. As a venture capitalist at Phillips–Smith Specialty Retail Group, she worked with rapidly growing early–stage companies, including The Sports Authority, CompUSA, Gadzooks, PetSmart and A Pea in the Pod, among others.
