My mining career began in Leonora. I spent 16 years in various residential and FIFO roles before taking a year out to study and change careers. I moved to Kalgoorlie to commence in recruitment during which time I was lucky enough to lead several mid-scale recruitment projects for mining clients in the Kalgoorlie area. Moving back to Perth, I began recruiting technical professionals focusing on maintenance, metallurgy and processing roles from graduates to management at sites across Australia and internationally. I then completed additional studies and provided career and outplacement support to individuals in the mining sector. I’m experienced in recruiting across bulk numbers of blue collar roles and individual white collar positions. I have a broad knowledge of mining. I understand the challenges of living in small towns and doing FIFO and experienced the cyclical nature of the mining industry first hand.
