GENENTECH: In Product Development Regulatory Commercial Labeling, I am responsible for the creation and revision of marketed product labeling for Genentech and Roche drugs, biologics, and devices. This includes but is not limited to labels, cartons, and inserts. I provide the labeling section of BLA and NDA submissions to FDA. I consult with Marketing on package design elements such as colors, logos, and placement of text. I participate on new product launch teams and partner with all groups involved to assure a successful launch, including Marketing, Packaging Engineering, Procurement, Materials Control, Quality, Supply Chain, and global affiliates. I am the point person for verification of suspected counterfeit material and participate on the anti-counterfeiting team. I am a member of African Americans in Biotech, an employee group at Genentech, and regularly participate in their activities. I am also a member of the Mental Health Champions, an employee team that provides mental health resources and activities for employees. As a member of this team, I raise awareness of domestic violence through presentations and providing information at corporate events.
