A senior Derivatives business and operations leader with extensive experience of delivering change and transformation initiatives within derivatives markets. This focus led to several promotions until I rose to become Head of Confirmations across all business lines.Subsequently approached to deliver a greenfield implementation project, I created, designed and developed a new trade support team and function within three months by working with senior stakeholders to ensure systems, procedures, and processes were in place prior to trading.I was then headhunted to manage the trade support function for OTC Derivatives at UFJ. Post-merger, the role evolved to become Head of Derivatives Settlements, and I led Exchange-traded and OTC Derivatives for end-to-end processing of all derivative transactions.By 2006 and following redundancy, I took up a contract position to provide strategic and operational guidance to Mitsubishi UFJ Securities to define systems, procedures, and processes to implement a new Murex 2.11.32 platform. I was later employed as Head of Derivatives Development and Derivatives Project Manager to oversee and ensure the delivery of business-critical initiatives.LCH.Clearnet approached me in 2011 to provide technical and product expertise to build an enhanced focus on the quality of technical service capabilities and to ensure improved platform stability within the Business Change team for the SwapClear service.My role expanded to incorporate a broader remit within change and transformation, with a core focus on process and systems improvement whilst enhancing business capabilities. Initiatives have included the mitigation of operational risk through increased automation; reduction of capital adequacy requirements through compression and the assurance of regulatory compliance in regard to trade registrations.
