Chris’s responsibilities primarily include: sales engineering, escalated service affairs, and providing professional services to internal and external clients. Including multi-step application upgrades, complex data import/exports, and custom scripting.Chris joined Security Services and Technologies (SST) in 2005. He started off as an installation technician. With his background in the IT field he quickly found a need for his skills in the physical security space. He worked his way up to service technician very quickly around 2006. Around 2007 he became a systems specialist with SST. Around 2008 before ADT purchased SST, he took up a role as an IP Systems Application Manager and moved to the company home office in Norristown, PA from Jacksonville, FL. Chris has been with SST/ADT/TycoIS for over 7 years with 11+ years in the security industry. Prior to Tyco IS, Chris spent over 12 years in the IT field. Chris owned his own business building PC based DVR surveillance systems. He also worked for a security camera distributor where he managed the technical department. Earlier in his IT career in Chris had worked at small computer repair shops, contract network installations, server maintenance projects, and worked for a high profile IT consulting firm.Chris holds many certifications in both the IT field and the Security Industry. Some of these include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE 2003) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist SQL Server 2008 (MCTS), Software House CCure800 Installer and CCure800 Advanced Integrator.
