After having worked over 15 years as a healthcare market researcher, with experience in both multinational and Japan local market research, analytics and research based consulting, I set up my own business from February 2010 and run through 2013. The company’s name ‘PharmaForesight’ expressed our mission to provide ‘foresights’ to pharmaceutical and healthcare related companies in order to support their best decision making and strategic planning.

I served as General Manager of Healthcare Japan where I was responsible for all custom and syndicated market research business inside and outside of Japan, for international and local clients. I also lead strong growth of business and doubled the revenue in 2 years since I joined.

In 2005 I joined Synovate Healthcare Japan to head up custom market research business. I was responsible for all types of custom research inside and outside Japan market.During these 2 years, I doubled the revenue and significantly expanded the client base.

In 1995, I started my career as a healthcare market researcher with SSRI, a Japanese leading healthcare research agency. I was responsible for developing international market research business for Japanese companies, as well as to serve foreign clients who intend to expand their business in Japan. Consequently, the revenue of the business has grown over 10 times during these years. I became Executive Director for International Research and gained extensive knowledge of international healthcare markets, with particular focus on the US and Europe during my period with SSRI. I also developed lots of valuable contacts, network within international healthcare market research community during these years.
