I am currently a graduate Electrical Engineering student at UC Irvine, specialized during my undergrad in Digital Signal Processing and Communications, and continuing research in these fields also as a Ph.D. student. Also experienced with signal integrity and power integrity, machine learning & optimization, VLSI design, analog circuit design, and PCB design both for power distribution systems and high-speed signals. Graduated my M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in June 2024 and my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) in June 2023, both from UC Irvine.I am actively looking for ways to put my skills and knowledge into the betterment of our world -- whether through research in academia or engineering projects in industry.Feel free to reach out :)galben2002@gmail.com

Graduate Student Relations ChairIeee Student Branch At Uc Irvine Apr 2023 - Jun 2024- Act as a bridge between undergraduate and graduate EECS students.- Plan events with GEECS (Graduate Electrical Engineers and Computer Scientists) and other graduate student organizations. Form and maintain connections with alumni and host industry events with them.- Help provide information to students regarding grad school and point them towards the right resources (counseling, administration, faculty).- Inform undergraduate students about research opportunities that they may be interested in and help them connect with faculty / graduate students that participate in those research projects, based on their topics of interest and faculty that works in that field. -
Internal Relations ExecutiveIeee Student Branch At Uc Irvine Apr 2022 - Jun 2023- Connected with other organizations on campus and faculty, organized events, workshops, and kept track of memberships.- Organized the Electrical Engineering Specializations Panel - invited graduate students to share their experiences in the different fields of EE to help undergraduate students better understand the various career / academia paths available to them. -
Electronics Hardware EngineerNasa Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jun 2023 - Dec 2023Pasadena, Ca, UsWorked with the Radar Science and Engineering Group on the AIRSAR-NG project.- Designed, tested, and verified a power distribution PCB for the DGPS system.- Designed a 1-PPS fanout buffer PCB.- Designed an RF distribution system and a clock distribution system.- Designed cable drawings to connect between various components and soldered different cables to power up and communicate with devices.- Maintained corner reflectors.- Applied Kalman Filters and Recurrent Neural Networks for sensor fusion.- Designed a system to visualize magnetometer readings on smartphones, instead of connecting the magnetometer with a USB cable to a laptop to obtain its reading. This provides a highly effective method to get precise compass readings in field settings when a specialized magnetometer is required. -
Rf Applications EngineerMenlo Micro Jan 2023 - Jun 2023Irvine, Ca, Us- Developed a software to automate IP3 testing using NI-VISA protocols, C, and C++.- Characterized MM5620 Ideal Switches using a VNA and ensured that there are no significant outliers.- Performed power testing, hot switching measurements, Coff, Ron, switching time, IP3, and S-parameter characterization on various Ideal Switches.- Analyzed these results to ensure they meet the specs of the devices.- Generated plots and created presentations to present the data clearly to the rest of the team and customers. -
Electrical EngineerAloe Semiconductor Jun 2022 - Nov 2022- Designed and simulated transmission lines and PCB layouts using ADS to later improve signal integrity by analyzing eye diagrams and implementing equalizers.- Evaluated RF channels' performances using their S-Parameters with ADS, MATLAB, and Simulink.- Created a transimpedance amplifier using LTSpice.- Generated IBIS-AMI models using SystemVue.
