I am interested in applied and theoretical research, modeling schemes, numerical simulations, and advanced data analysis, as well as data and project management. The overarching theme of my interests if the exploration and advancement of our knowledge, our interaction, and our appreciation of our environment, both on Earth and in outer space. My background is in geophysics, planetary science, astronomy, and physics, with a specialty in the study of planetary systems, including terrestrial planets and small bodies (comets, asteroids and Kuiper belt objects). My main experience is in initiating, leading, developing, and collaborating on modeling and data analysis projects. I also have equivalent experience in the domain of instrumentation and exploration platforms geared towards space applications. My experience is backed by programming expertise, which includes: C/C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab, Shell Script (Bash), Linux/MacOS/Windows, Git, HTML, MPI, LaTex.Currently, I am a Senior Research Scientist, working on data calibration, algorithms, and analysis. I work within the characterization support teams of the Earth Science Directorate, part of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (through SSAI). I work with VIIRS and MODIS pipelines, under NASA's hydrosphere, biosphere, and geophysics (HBG) umbrella.
