After obtaining a BA in French, Gail Lambert taught French and German to all ages for 12 years in the UK, but mainly in secondary schools (11-16). One of her responsibilities was to integrate IT in the curriculum maps and assist in the creation of a Moodle site. Gail also assisted with educational technology PD of colleagues, by delivering training on Promethean interactive software and learner response systems to educators in the school district. Gail Lambert was one of three educators who formed a Promethean Centre of Excellence for the school district.Since moving to the USA in 2008, Gail Lambert has developed her skills in PD, building on her experience with the classroom use of all Promethean products. She expanded her technology portfolio, becoming proficient in all forms of IWB/tablet training and SIS programs. She is a MIE (Microsoft in Education) Master Trainer certified to deliver MIE Teacher Academies, Microsoft in the Classroom sseminars and has achieved the Microsoft Office Specialist in OneNote. She continues to work as an independent technology instructor in many school districts for several technology companies, including PowerUpEDU, EdTechTrain, SchoolNet, Microsoft and also has provided training for the B & G sector. Gail Lambert currently works closely with PowerUpEDU, providing consultancy work on PD, creating PD training modules on blended and personalized learning, incorporating 21st century skills, implementation of tablets, instructional technology awareness. She enjoys developing technology training solutions as well as implementing the courses. Gail is constantly retraining herself to keep herself current with new developments in the digital era.
