Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to develop my professional competences in all aspects of my job.I started my career in the classic histopathological field employed in the Italian National Healthcare System.I developed a deep experience in autoptic dissecting techniques and in histopathology, applying histochemistry and immunohistochemistry to the diagnostic protocols in autoptic pathologySince 1998 I’ve done regularly legal autopsies, following all the diagnostic processes up to the courtroom witness.Since 2001 I developed a management activity, besides my own professional skills, conducting a team of ten units due to the obituary activity, the autoptic diagnosis and the crime scene analysis with 3D collection data analysis.I developed the diagnostic activity and proof conservation in cases of adult and child abuse and I did consultations in cases of medical malpractice.I’ve collaborated in the process of improvement of the clinical risk management in my Hospital with particular attention to the prevention of errors in clinical processing.I am a unique forensic pathologist in Italy that has the availability of a laser scanner for 3D survey of crime scenes. This instrument gives the possibility of a dynamic reconstruction of criminal events and the topography of evident and latent evidences. I started a project for the use of a high resolution laser scanner for the 3D high resolution survey and reconstruction of specific body and bone lesions.Actually I have the psotion of contract Professor at the University of Magna Grecia for teaching Forensic Histopathology
