Instruct and mentor participants at the basic, specialist and advanced specialist levels in emergency response to rail, highway, industrial and intermodal incidents involving hazardous materials. Instruct an guide potential Incident Commanders in Incident Management for Surface Transportation incidents and the National Incident Management System. Instruct in Tactical Hazardous Materials Operations to Surface Transportation incidents to law enforcement personnel. Instruct and guide community planners,executives and first response personnel in emergency planning for surface transportation incidents including freight rail and highway as well as passenger rail and highway.

Provide law enforcement services for the citizens of Pueblo County at the patrol level, and supervisor levels. Coordinated the operations of the Colorado State Certified law enforcement academy at Pueblo Community College and the Training Division at the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. AS secondary duties I handled and coordinated disaster responses, hazardous materials, clandestine drug labs, and weapons of mass destruction planning and responses to include the responses and planning for incidents involving the Pueblo Chemical Depot . Performed the duties of Colorado's South Region Homeland Security Coordinator which covered a five county region. My duties were to assist in grants, training, procedures, and response to weapon of mass destruction, acts of terrorism, and hazardous materials incidents.Have been and active volunteer fire fighter for approximately 20 years beginning with the Pueblo West Fire Department in Colorado where I was a Shift Lieutenant until coming to TTCI where I am a member for the Fire Brigade.
