I am a lawyer with experience in employment law, civil litigation, and insurance defence. I was a traditional animator and filmmaker before I transitioned to law. Before joining Mackoff Mohamed, I worked as a judicial law clerk at the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench in Edmonton and later practiced employment law, labour law, and commercial litigation at a national law firm in Vancouver.I have extensive experience dealing with both employer and employee-side matters, including wrongful dismissal, human rights issues, employment contracts and drafting, terminations, and workplace policies. I have appeared as counsel at all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as before the Employment Standards Branch, Labour Relations Board, and Human Rights Tribunal, and in various alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
