I was responsible for national and state organizing campaigns to advance the mission of International CURE through raising awareness, impacting policy, and creating a movement to address the causes that drive mass incarceration while supporting a fundamental shift in our culture toward the values of restoration, reintegration, and unitive justice. Began at CURE as an intern in 2012 a month after coming home from prison. First introduction to the criminal legal reform community and federal policy advocacy communities through the Justice Roundtable. Worked closely with CURE's president and founder, Charlie Sullivan, to bring the voice of lived experience to policy makers and members of congress.
