Galileo Solis is a Science and Technology Led Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has more than twenty years of experience in technology and public policy related positions.He has served at public, private and non-for-profits organizations. Before joining IDB, Galileo worked at the National Bureau of Science Technology and Innovation of Panamá. At IDB he shares his knowledge and experience with competitiveness, technology and innovation policy and decision makers of all the countries in Central America, originating and managing various projects to increase investment in innovation, promote the creation of new innovative business, enhance the productivity of firms enabling their capabilities to compete in international markets and strengthening the capacity of institutions to support innovation and productive development.He has a Computer Systems Engineering degree from the Catholic University of Panama (USMA), holds an MBA from INCAE Business School, a Master’s Degree in Project Assessment from Universidad del Istmo.
