Managing Catchwise, a nationwide recreational fisheries data collection project that involves face-to-face surveys of sea anglers across English and Welsh coasts and an online survey of charter boats. Catchwise will report in early 2025 and will help inform the funding of sea angling, demonstrate its importance to coastal communities, and highlight the recreational use of UK fish stocks. Catchwise is a collaboration between Research Consultancy Substance, Cefas and the Angling Trust, and is funded by Deparment for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, under the Fisheries Industry Science Partnership scheme.

Managed all aspects of sea turtle conservation projects in various locations in Greece, including Zakynthos and Kyparissia Bay, which are the most important nesting habitats for the loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta carreta) in the Mediterranean. All sites were located within the Natura 2000 Network.

Coordination of 3 Life European projects (LIFE15/NAT/HR/000997) Life-Nature: “Collective actions for improving the conservation status of the EU sea turtle populations” - LIFE EUROTURTLES - in action C1: Mitigation of threats at nesting site".Implementation and coordination of specialized fieldwork (deployment and recovery of sand & and nest temperature loggers, deployment of GSM and Satellite Tracking Devices on sea turtles, collection of tissue samples)The project aimed to improve the conservation status of the EU populations of two sea turtle priority species (Caretta caretta and Chelonia mydas) through an EU-level approach considering the multinational distribution of these populations, which have breeding and foraging grounds in different and distant EU countries.
