In May 2015 I was moved/promoted to daylight hours with a normal work schedule 8-4 pm+ I am now in charge of Managing 2 of the 6 Dormitory setting building with over 250 plus inmates overseeing compliance and organization of activities as well as supporting the Virginia Adult Re Entry Initiative to include a Cognitive Community setting for the inmates preparing to return to society to be pro active and productive citizens. for the last 5 months since coming to daylight I am proud to have participated in the passing of our Audits for American Corrections Associations compliance as well as our ( P.R.E.A.) Prison Rape Elimination Act . getting use to daylight after 3 years walking in the moon light instead of sunlight has been a dramatic change and it is a good thing as I complete my 22nd year in corrections I am blessed to have such a wonderful and successful Career. 36 months to go

Shift Commander in charge of 23 plus Security Staff and oversees medium level adult male dormitory setting prison with the average population for inmates at 1066.When It comes down to it I am responsible on on Night shift for anything and everything that could go wrong or right what a life I LOVE MY JOB

Assigned to 7th Transportation Group , Traveled many places while assigned to Cargo handlers Transportation Unit ( Stevedore Unit) Deployed to Southwest Asia Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 1990 to May 1991Participated in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm/Provide Comfort before being sent State Side to ETS

Assigned to Service Battery and then Headquarters Battery spent 18 months out of 2 years in the field many cold war exercises.
