I have over 25 years of experience as a government executive and attorney managing budgets and personnel, providing counsel, establishing and carrying out policy, drafting and negotiating legislation and administrative rules, as well as procuring and negotiating contracts in both the Executive and Legislative branches of State Government.I have been repeatedly recognized for my state and national work in unclaimed property law. I am the primary author of Illinois' Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act (IL-RUUPA) and its accompanying administrative rules. I serve as the Chair of the NAUPA Legal Committee and am regularly consulted by attorneys and administrators for unclaimed property programs in other states.
