Shifted over 90% of Treasurer's Office staff to remote work. Signed MOUs with labor unions to authorize change in job responsibilities to keep staff engaged and supervised during pandemic.Instituted reforms to Illinois' unclaimed property program that leveraged technology and led to a record $2 billion being returned to Illinois residents, businesses, and nonprofits during Treasurer Frerichs' time in office.

Provided advice and legal analysis to the Treasurer and other senior staff on issues ranging from litigation and state and federal legal compliance to procurement and human resources. Assisted Treasurer Frerichs’ legislative team with drafting and negotiating the Treasurer’s major legislative proposals and administrative rules. Responsible for overseeing legal and policy issues related the new Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act (765 ILCS 1026). Represented the Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA).
