Reporting to the CFO, I was responsible for identifying and exploiting funding opportunities for the newly formed Hydrogen programme, as well as consolidating and developing networks with authorities and stakeholders in both the Automotive and Energy sectors. Achievements/objectives achieved:  successfully presented several projects funded under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe for a total of around 3 M€ of funding  presented two projects in the Innovation Agreements for 5 M€ of funding (under evaluation)  coordinated the preparation and drafting of the company's first sustainability report

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role included: - Developing and consolidating relationships with government entities at local and central level, - Inside Opel/Vauxhall Public Policy, management of relations with the Italian government - Company representative in selected Italian trade associations (ANFIA – Automotive Industry Association ; Confindustria – Italian Federation of Industry) - Consolidation of collaboration with the Polytechnic of Turin on research and education within the Automotive Research and Training Institute (IARE) - Identification of funding opportunities at Italian and European level for GM in R&D and Education. Achievements/objectives achieved:  New agreement with the Polytechnic of Turin for research and training within the IARE  Funding opportunities identified at Italian and EU level for R&D and training for GM in Italy for a total of over 7.5 M€  Promotion of the implementation of autonomous vehicles in Italy to prepare the market entry of proprietary GM AV solutions from 2020  Obtaining GM recognition by European and international authorities.

Responsible for the activity on road safety and for the participation to EU Funding scheme on research and development – Strategic Planning & Business Development – Piaggio & C. SpAResponsible of Public Affairs Office in Piaggio & C. SpA. In direct connection with the President and the Board of Directors, responsible for the definition and implementation of the lobbying activity at national, European and International levels. Company’s representative in trade associations at national and International levels (ANCMA, ACEM e IMMA) and Chairman of ACEM Committee on Environment.Assistant to Giovanni Alberto Agnelli in his role as ACEM President.

Secretary General of ACEM (European Motorcycle Manufacturers’ Association), based in Brussels. ACEM’s mission is to protect the interests of the motorcycle Industry in Europe vis-à-vis the European institutions (with reference specifically to the European Commission and the European Parliament), to develop alliances with other groups of interest, to stimulate and coordinate Industry’s initiatives at local and national level, protecting the interests of the European industry within International fora.Secretary General responsibilities: in coordination with the President, to define the Association’s policies and their implementation, the Association’s administration, the development of the relationship with the members, planning and implementation of specific initiatives.As Secretary General of ACEM also I planned and led MAIDS (Motorcycle Accident In-Depth Study), the first pan-European research project on motorcycle accidents co-funded by the European Commission and the motorcycle Industry.
