About Raul Galvan Perez
I like making things better, through continuous improvement, using Lean Manufacturing. I love to problem solve and come up with better, faster, cost effective ways of doing things. There is no better feeling than the satisfaction of having done a great job. I like to work across departmental boundaries and get everyone headed in the same direction to ensure success. That feeling of accomplishment is addictive, and it has since fueled my passion for engineering. Now, my greatest reward is assisting and inspiring others to find their own great "aha" moments. From troubleshooting Oil & Gas fluid systems to manufacturing heavy equipment, I am skilled in designing manufacturing processes, end-user training and providing cost effective solutions. I have been promoted to roles with increased responsibility for technical troubleshooting, machinery design, project management, and customer/vendor relations. I possess an extensive track record of collaborating with Quality Control and Safety teams, Customers and Operations providing solutions to complex problems and leading projects through to completion on time and within budget. Additionally, I have a good eye for efficiency and cost savings without sacrificing quality using Lean methodologies.I am a leader who strives to demonstrate personal accountability, integrity, and skill in all I do. I am unafraid to take risks or admit failures, as nobody has ever been successful without at first trying. And, in my opinion, the only real failure is not learning from unsuccessful efforts. I am invigorated by mentoring and coaching others in all types of education and backgrounds to learn the intricacies of manufacturing processes, embracing practices that enhance productivity and profitability, and I am focused on delivering outstanding operational excellence. To make an everlasting difference wherever I go.
