Lead Muscial Instruments Specialist
Was hired as a seasonal worker for the holidays and worked my way up to become a full time employee. Started at the front counter and was responsible for checking out guests, selling protection plans, services, accessories, and processing credit card applications. Being a top seller I had the opportunity to be promoted to the musical instruments department as a full time employee. I was responsible for the setting up displays, making bundle packs for the instruments to showcase sales and specials, walked the floor to interact with guests to introduce them to the musical instruments department. Had sales goals of average sales of $350 of core products, $40 of accessories and $100 of protection/services per hour. Maintaining these high expectations I was giving the opportunity to become the Lead of the department where I was in charge of the employees and structure of how things ran. I made weekly schedules, helped in employee development with cross training for sales and online courses on products we carried, and also did weekly cycle counts to make sure all products were accounted for the department. I had weekly sit downs with employees to go over sales matrix and set expectations each day to hit these matrix numbers. I worked with management to come up with ideas for contests to keep employee morale high, on improving customer satisfaction scores and on growing the business by maximizing sales on each transaction.
Credit Card Account Manager
The day to day functions of the position were to take incoming phone calls, make outbound calls, and help customers with their credit card. I would speak to our customers on various topics such as basic card service needs, payments on their bill, updates on information, credit line increases and cross selling for other banking needs. I was also responsible for certain accounts that were delinquent and would try to get in contact with the customers or find ways of communication to let them know of options that had to help them bring their account(s) up to date. Once I was able to reach these delinquent customers I offered services such as credit card repayment programs if help was needed. Would do follow up emails and phone calls to make sure programs were working out and to schedule monthly payments for the program. I worked hand in hand with other areas of the bank to get the best solution for our customers. I maintained aggressive goals such as a 35 percent close rate, low call handle time, high customer service scores and paperwork completion.
Phone Banker
Would take incoming calls and help our customers with any questions they had about their accounts. Would take on average of 85-100 calls per day. I would maintain an 18%-20% referral rate per day. Helped customers with core services that they call in for and suggest upgrades to their services they already had with us. Maintained a handle time of an average 250 seconds or less per call a day. Handled customer service questions that ranged from asking for account balances to fraud issues. Maintained high customer service quality score.
