My journey began during my college years when I worked as a caregiver in my mom's Board and Care facility while pursuing my architecture degree. It was during this time that I became acutely aware of the need for improved bathing and patient transfer methods.Simultaneously, my father's health was deteriorating, and he required dialysis three times a week. Our family home presented numerous challenges for him to manage. On some days, my brother and I resorted to tying a sheet to carry him upstairs, while other nights he had to sleep on the couch. I named it after my father as a tribute to his resilience and as a reminder of the passion that drove me to improve the lives of those in need.
