I work within a small 5 person team that acts as the front face of IT for Wescot. We support and manage user access within the business, acting as an escalation point for software and Hardware issues; from receiving calls or emails from users with issues or requests. Providing remote support as well as office support I log and track all issues in service tickets and attempt to resolve all issues as the first point of contact; only escalating the issue when I have done everything I can to resolve a ticket. Confidentiality is at the heart of the job as we deal with user information and also customer and client information; and to which we are regularly audited.

I worked within the Unsecured Customer Financial Assistance team on behalf of the LBG (Lloyd's Banking Group). I was tasked with advising customers who are in financial difficulty and discussing their situation and circumstances with them in order to help them manage the product they have with LBG. Software designer, developer and tester for Cosneta, a four-man startup. I was brought on as a temporary contractor, I initially used my expertise in C++ to improve the speed of data transmission and usage, to which resulted in more than doubling the quality of the software’s ability as I spent a lot of time optimizing pre-existing code within the software. I was also tasked with redeveloping the UI as it had become clunky and sluggish with each new feature that had been added.As part of my job as Cosneta was a small start up company, I was also tasked with analysis test data provided by software testers, part of the requirements would be to take the data and convert it into usable heat maps of most active parts of the software, and also compile a daily and weekly reports on progress, display of use metrics and issues that have arisen during development.
