Eeo Investigator
Current• Responsible for intake and investigation of internal complaints and external charges.• Function as the EEO representative to all operating divisions and provide internal recommendations to resolve disputes and advised management of the Authority’s objectives. Mediate resolution between employees.• Prepares and maintains database of EEO compliance statistics, complaints and reports for submittal to government bodies and management as required. • Monitors Port Authority’s Employment practices. Identifies areas needing improvement to decrease agency and or third party interventions in the EEO arena. • Represents and participates in various external agency proceedings by attending fact-finding conferences, hearings and trials through the Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and testifies on behalf of the organization as necessary.• Designs, manages and delivers EEO/Human Relations related training programs that support Port Authority to aggressively pursue the full implementation of Port Authority’s Equal Employment Opportunity policies. Coordinates with training departments to ensure development of EEO awareness training to educate all employees on EEO related matters.• Designs, implements and advises management on policies and programs that ensure the organization continually seeks to maintain and or achieve its EEO related goals and objectives relative to its employment practices.• Shares supervisory responsibilities for the OEO staff assistant.• Attends community meetings, career fairs and serves on outside committees related to Port Authority’s EEO program.
