As CEO of Quantum Signals, I lead our mission to bring next-generation AI tools to financial markets. We are developing sophisticated methods based on the latest AI techniques that even some of the very best AI teams at large banks and quant hedge funds are lacking. We aim to revolutionize short-term predictions (from 1 minute to 30 minutes) of key market dynamics like mid-price and liquidity. These predictions can be utilized by quant research teams to build automated investment strategies and by traders that wish to optimize large order execution and improve on VWAP benchmarks.Our AI models are trained on detailed order book data from stock exchanges. We train on large volumes of historical data going back many years. We then track the shape of the order book in real time and provide predictions about individual equities on a minute by minute basis.
