Web Designer, E-Commerce Web DeveloperBr4Ss Underwear Oct 2014 - Jul 2016While I was still in school, BR4SS approached me with a couple of challenges to take on. They had a new vision for the company and wanted me to use my diverse skillset to create various digital and print marketing materials to grow capital for the company. This included a complete website redesign and development. They told me it had to have more of a mature and premium style to better align with their new business initiatives instead of the young and loud voice they operated with before. • The JobI took on the challenge and BR4SS.com became the first e-commerce site that I had ever built. Utilizing WordPress, WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields, I created a custom, responsive e-commerce theme that scaled properly to fit all common device sizes and was a major contender, right next to Stance, in the fashion e-commerce world. Doing this streamlined the user's shopping experience, driving web traffic up 20% and raising the conversion rate another 1%.• Website RedesignBR4SS wanted to expand and needed to portray something more “grownup.” Trying to land them in premium stores, like Nordstrom, was a matter of making them look more luxurious. Getting users to purchase more product was as straightforward as simplifying the homepage and making the mobile experience something they'd want to keep coming back to.• Digital MarketingUtilizing most of the Adobe Creative Suite, I created web banners, “count-down to event” graphics, specialized landing pages for seasonal promotions, mockups and sale popup modals.• Investor OverviewsBR4SS came to me to create clean and professional investor overviews that they could use to secure the necessary funds to carry out their goals for the year.• Fashion Technical PacksI was tasked with designing garment specification sheets (Tech Packs, for short.) With those documents, I would collaborate with Chinese companies to create our garments for a lower price, saving the company in overhead costs.More in attached media -
