About Gandy T. Gandidzanwa
Over the years, there have been some deep conversations about investing with boutique fund managers and yet the allocations made to these managers are not reflective of the depth of conversations that have been taking place. A lack of a dedicated platform for investors to gain easy access to talented, skilled and competent boutique fund managers has been cited as one of the reasons for such a low allocation rate. We have built a platform that helps investors to discover, research, analyse, and select boutique fund managers. FundCraft is a specialist multi-manager philosophy packaged into a software. It helps investors and users blend only portfolios of select boutique fund manager firms that are managed by hard working investment professionals with high conviction, originality, and independence. In availing the platform, we are pursuing our conviction that structurally, boutique fund managers are naturally more nimble and opportunistic than larger long-established investment managers. They are entrepreneurial, have "skin in the game", are open to innovation and are motivated by ownership incentives. They have an edge ahead of their larger long-established counterparts and their interests are more aligned with those of their investors of long term capital growth within acceptable levels of risk. We believe, through FundCraft, we have made it simpler for investors to more confidently and comfortably tap into the skill and talent that resides in the boutique fund managers space.
